How to use the rooms calculator

To calculate the number of rooms for your household you can enter the answers to the following questions in the appropriate boxes and then click the button labelled 'Calculate Number of Rooms' - the number of rooms allowed will be displayed in the final box. You may reset the calculator by clicking on the button labelled 'Reset Form' this will return all boxes to their previous values.

From 05/12/05 same sex couples who have formed a civil partner or are living together as if they have a civil partnership are treated the same way as opposite sex couples who are married or are living together as husband and wife.
